There are researchers who have found an early warning system for sunburn. It is a bracelet that changes colour when to much ultra-violet light is absorbed. The bracelets cost around 20p, which is not a lot of money. The bracelet fits all sorts of skin type, but you have to take your sun-cream protection factor into account. Australia and Canada have already shown an interest in this product. The UK has a lot of people who have suffered terrible consequences from lying in the sun to long. Sometimes you think you are ok but after two days you notice that your skin is burnt. In my opinion this is a welcome product. More and more people have skin disease because of the sun. The bracelet is cheap which will make it a lot more attractive for people to buy. They can use it very easily because they do not have to put it around their wrist if they do not want to. This is one important fact because not many people want a white strip on their wrist. One point that could be improved is the factor that it does not have any way of calculating how long you can stay in the sun when you are using sun-cream.

Hi Dennis,
Another good topic, summary and reaction here. However, there are some errors that you can correct!
to much / to long (spelling/grammar)
20p which (punctuation)
all sorts of skin type (subject-verb agreement)
have take > have TO take
already showed interest > already shown an interest...
have had terrible consequences for > have suffered terrible consequences from...
you will notice (tense - present not furture)
there wrist (spelling/grammar)
don’t want it (contraction and 'it' should be 'to')
fact > factor
sun, when (punctuation)
See if you can work out the errors on your own and if you have trouble, ask me!
Well done, keep up the good work.
Kate.
